Flint Hills Oil SpillOn Christmas Day of 2022, Ingleside on the Bay learned of an oil spill by Flint Hills Resources Ingleside Marine Terminal. First reported as 3800 gallons, it is now reported to have been 14,000. Thirteen birds and one sea turtle have died and another sea turtle was exposed. This page chronicles the news coverage and provides photos/videos of the consequences, which have spread to North Beach by the State Aquarium over to the Corpus Christi Marina.
